I am so glad this year is almost over. It’s been…irritating. Yeah, irritating, is a good word for it. That’s not even including the political climate, which…I don’t want to talk about that. School-wise, it was a very long quarter that finally ended. After getting sick in the middle of midterms, which happened during a hurricane, it’s been more than a little stressful. Plus my parents had gotten really sick during that time, so that was an extra layer of worry.
Thankfully, it didn’t end so terribly. My parents got better, and I got A’s in both my classes, so that will give my GPA a boost. I found out Young Justice is being renewed for Season 3, which might be evidence that god does indeed exist. I also skipped an entire level of Taekwondo, going from Green belt to Blue belt, so that was exciting! Hopefully this is a sign next year will be better.
I’m looking forward to next quarter too. One class I’m really excited about is ancient Egyptian art history. I love ancient Egypt, so this class looks like so much fun. My other class switched professors so now I have the professor where you can’t get an A unless you’re him. Not sure how that’s going to work out, but I feel like a challenge (I’ll probably regret saying that later lol).
Right now I’m at my parents’ place up in Michigan, and it is COLD. Haven’t felt this cold in a while, and there’s actually snow this time! Still, it’s nice to have a little vacation from school and time to work solely on writing and websites. Anyway, this is probably the last journal of the year, so Happy Life Day everyone! Hope you all have a good holiday!
And now, some of my favorite art from this year!
